BEFORE YOU BUY

Compared to a traditional commercial-grade plow, the Meyer WingMan was built for self-managed property owners who want to plow-it-themselves. It was engineered to be easier to install and use, but before you pull the trigger to purchase a WingMan, below are a few pointers on what you need to know:

  • Not all pickup trucks and SUVs can be upfitted with a WingMan. Use our configuration tool to find out if the WIngMan is right for your specific 4x4.

  • A class-3, 2” front receiver hitch needs to be mounted onto the front of your 4x4 vehicle. One can be purchased via the Meyer website, local home improvement store or local trailer rental outlet. If you’re a DIY guy, you can mount the 2” front receiver yourself or you can have a local authorized Meyer dealer or automotive service station perform the install. • You must have a 4-pin trailer wiring harness in the back of your 4x4 vehicle. If you do not have a 4-pin trailer wiring harness, Meyer recommends visiting a local authorized Meyer dealer for purchase and installation.

  • Uncrating and installing a WingMan plow requires at least two people.
