Spread It Where You Want It
Getting the material in the right place the first time is critical. With Meyer’s two internal and four external baffle adjustment systems, you will place the material in the right place, every time. Whether you want to spread four feet to the left, four feet to the right, or spread a thirty foot pattern, you can easily adjust the spreading pattern to meet your unique demands. In addition, Meyer spreaders are engineered to handle virtually any material you can throw at it including salt, sand, and salt/sand mix.

When You're On A Roll, Stay On A Roll
High performance in virtually any condition is not optional, so Meyer includes many performance-enhancing components as STANDARD. Our drop n loc top screens break-up large clumps of material which can cause damage to the drag chain and reduce performance. In addition, we include bolt-in chain shields as standard to prevent material from building up in the drag chain and slowing you down. Finally, we offer as standard, our inverted-V which helps prevent material from bridging and slowing down the conveyor.

Wireless Controls
Who likes wires? Meyers includes as STANDARD wireless controls for your gas-driven PV spreader. No wires running underneath your vehicle. No drilling holes in your cab to mount a controller. Simply load your spreader in the back of your truck and you are ready to spread. The fully integrated wireless controller allows you to start and choke your engine as well as engage your drive system in a simple- to- use, hand-held, wireless controller.

Bolt-In Chain Shield
To keep your PV spreader running at optimal condition, our bolt-in-chain shield allows you to adjust the shield to the optimal position to prevent material from clogging your drag chain. In addition, the chain shield can easily be removed for routine maintenance of your spreader.

Patented Fork Pockets
Thanks to our patented fork pockets, no overhead crane is required to move your PV in and out of your pickup truck. All you need is a forklift to quickly install or remove your PV from a vehicle.

Liquid Pre-Wet System
Want to decrease your salt consumption and reduce the amount of time it takes for the salt to melt the ice and snow on the road? Studies show that by pre-wetting salt prior to spreading can reduce salt consumption by 20 to 30% and reduce the time to achieve bare pavement from 20 hours to 2 hours. Our fully integrated pre-wetting system includes two fifteen-gallon tanks (one for each side of the spreader) and the mounting brackets to install the pre-wet system. Included in the system is cab-mounted variable speed controller for adjusting the output of the liquid. Two variable orifice rubber nozzles are provided to evenly treat granular material as it falls onto the spinner disc.

Tarp Kit
Our tarp kit is designed to prevent additional moisture or debris from being introduced into your PV hopper. The rugged one piece fitted tarp is waterproof and has ultra violet protection for longer life. Durable rubber tarp straps allow quick removal during hopper filling operations. The Tarp Kit includes all parts required to mount on 7' or 8' PV spreaders.

Tired of spreader control wires corroding in the harsh winter environment? The Meyer Standard Gas Engine Wireless Controller Systems provides the same control of a wired controller, but in a wireless version! The hand held wireless transmitter allows you to control all the basic functions of your controller from up to 75 feet away! The receiver unit’s sealed enclosure is vibration and waterproof for rugged durability. Requires stand-alone 12v spreader mounted battery (not included). Variable Speed Deluxe (Wireless) Controller System for Gas Spreader
The Deluxe LED Gas Engine Wireless Controller System includes all of the features of the Standard Wireless Controller System but with a remote control transmitter that is over 3.5 times larger than the standard transmitter. The larger transmitter fits comfortably in your hand and it buttons can be pushed even when wearing bulky work gloves. In addition, the transmitter features a green LED light that emits when the conveyor is engaged to indicate that material might be spreading. Requires a stand-alone 12v spreader mounted battery (not included). Compatible with all Meyer 6.5hp, 10.5 hp Briggs and 11 hp Honda gas driven spreaders.

The unit features 8 cubic feet of storage and is made of double walled polymer that is virtually indestructible. This Meyer accessory is made from a foam-like polyethylene. Suspension Enhancement
To improve the ride and overall performance of your vehicle, Meyer offers Timbren Suspension Enhancement kits. Timbren suspension system works in conjunction with your vehicle’s factory suspension system to provide added support in the front or rear of your vehicle. Timbren’s rubber cushioned products reduce the harsh ride caused by adding leaf springs or helper springs. Timbren suspension kits come complete as a set (2) and include installation instructions. May require professional installation.

Meyer Dielectric Grease
Prevent your valuable system from the harsh elements of the winter with Meyer’s dielectric grease. Meyer’s dielectric grease is specially formulated to coat and protect electrical connections from deteriorating elements such as salt and road grime. It is recommended to coat all electrical connections prior to winter and each time you re-connect to ensure optimal performance. Grease comes per each, 2.7oz tube.

Meyer M1 Hydraulic Fluid
Keep your hydraulic unit operation at factory performance by using OEM M1 Hydraulic Fluid. Meyer M1 Hydraulic fluid is scientifically formulated to synchronize with internal components to withstand the extreme temperatures of the summer and winter. Meyer’s exclusive additives maximize performance and longevity of the complete operating system. M1 Hydraulic Fluid is guaranteed to perform at temperatures -40 degrees. It is recommended that you drain the M1 Hydraulic in the spring, fill and store the unit with Hydra-Flush over the summer & re-fill with new M1 Hydraulic fluid in the fall.
Note: using other hydraulic fluids or additives voids your warranty and may permanently damage your unit. Comes in case/box of 12 and includes easy pour spout or by the bottle.

Meyer Chain & Cable Lube
Maintain Meyer equipment with our aerosol Chain & Cable lube. It is specially formulated to lubricate, preserve and protect chains and cables. This transparent heavy-duty dry film lubricant is formulated with the latest synthetic additives to ensure maximum penetration and protection against corrosion. Once applied, the solvent evaporates leaving behind a film that will not attract dust or wash off. Available in 11 oz. aerosol cans.
