Performance

Keep Material Flowing

The walk-behind Hotshot-120 was designed to make the job of spreading material easier and more efficient for the user. The rust-proof hopper features an internal material agitator with filter screen that allows even material flow to the spinner and breaks up clumps during the process.

All-Season Performer

Designed for year-round use, the Hotshot-120 holds 120 pounds of bagged free-flowing #1 rock salt or free-flowing granular material including salt, seed and fertilizer.

All-Season Performer

Easily Glides Over Tough Surfaces

The Hotshot-120’s 13-inch pneumatic wheels give it better traction during use, even over ice and snow-covered pavement. They also help stabilize the load on rougher terrain.

Easy to Use Flow Gate Control

A remote flow gate control allows quick and easy adjustment when dispersing material and a flow gate memory lock allows a pre-set, predetermined flow of material.

Reliability

Reliability

Built To Last

We weren’t messing around when we built the Hotshot-120 to withstand the elements. That’s why it comes standard with features designed to provide you years of reliable performance. These include a sealed gear case that protects the gears from contamination and damage, wheel/axel bearings with nylon sleeve to ensure durability around the axel. Meyer offers a one-year warranty on the Hotshot-120 spreader, parts and labor. Professionals looking to upgrade to a larger, more versatile broadcast spreader will find the right unit in the Meyer Hotshot Premium Line.

Control the Flow of Material

A see-through plastic cap keeps moisture out to keep your material dry and stops it from blowing out of the hopper. Meyer also equipped the Hotshot-120 with a stainless steel impeller shaft to prevent rust and corrosion and a poly distribution shield to allow for easy control of the spread pattern. Raise it for an 8- to 10-inch spread pattern or lower it for a 3- to 4-inch spread pattern.
