The Meyer under tailgate spreader (UTG) is designed to mount below all standard dump body tailgates. This spreader is available in two powerful drive systems; a high performance, low maintenance - Direct Drive or a heavy duty Gearbox Drive. The adjustable spinner frame allows for appropriate minimum spinner clearance and precise spread control.

The UTG spreader is equipped with separate hydraulic motors for the auger and spinner to allow for independent control of each function. The unique hydraulic safety interlock system-disables the auger during clean out and maintenance operations-provides for optimum operator safety.

RTG
REPLACEABLE TAILGATE

The Meyer RTG replaceable tailgate spreader is designed to replace the standard dump body tailgate. This spreader is equipped with separate hydraulic motors for the auger and the spinner for independent control. The RTG features an easy opening bottom cleanout gate which incorporates a hydraulic safety interlock system to disable the auger during clean out or maintenance.

The single 6" auger with continuous fliting discharges approximately 5.0 lbs/rev. and the incorporated trough agitator keeps the material free flowing. The 18" polyurethane spinner disc extends the spinner life in corrosive environments.

TAILGATE CROSS CONVEYOR
HOT & COLD TWO-WAY MATERIAL CONVEYING

The Meyer Tailgate Cross Conveyor is designed to extend the versatility of your standard dump body to include high temperature and large volume material conveying. The cross conveyor conveys materials to either end of the rugged 14” wide hi-temperature belt conveyor and includes dual feed gates.

A dual-function top cover is a Meyer industry exclusive which can be lowered to both protect the conveyor and allow true dump-bed operation when the conveyor is still attached.
