Meyer® Municipal Series HM/HML delivers the performance and the durability needed to tackle commercial streets and intersections, side streets, on-ramps and off-ramps. Ideal for 17,000 to 26,000 GVW trucks, these full-trip snowplows are built tough and made to last. This heavy-duty municipal plow gives you the strength to move heavy, wet snow effortlessly.

Multiple one-piece vertical ribs, heavy-gauge steel (or thick polyethylene) and adjustable trip springs add to the performance features. Heavy-cast runners deliver proper support on paved and gravel surfaces.

Adjustable trip springs and full-trip moldboards are designed to absorb the impact caused by snow covered objects, protecting the equipment and ensuring operator safety.

HM/HMLs use Meyer’s time-tested Custom mounting system. Custom mounts are vehicle specific and require minimal modification to vehicle frames. For set-ups not running off of the truck’s central hydraulics, Meyer offers its E-58H hydraulics package.

Most medium-duty trucks come with central hydraulics. The Meyer industrial-duty central hydraulic system allows the plow to be plumbed directly to the vehicle's hydraulic system. Central hydraulics provides quick operation, are easy to install and maintain, and don't require the purchase of independent hydraulics.

The Meyer E-58H system is the perfect solution for customers that want to add a plow to vehicles that do not have central hydraulics. The unit comes complete with a pistol grip controller, electrical harnessing, two municipal-duty angling rams, and a lift ram cylinder.

For set-ups using Meyer hydraulics, HMs come standard with ergonomically-designed pistol-grip controllers. This controller features intuitive, back lit buttons that easily control all functions of the plow with the push of just one button per function. On the backside of the controller are diagnostic instructions that make trouble-shooting easier.

Meyer Snow Shoes are designed to set the scrapping height of the cutting edge. It is common for the edge to run ½”-1” higher than the surface when plowing gravel driveways/lots or other ground sensitive surfaces. Meyer’s heavy duty plow markers allow the operator to see the edge of his plow from the cab providing maximum visibility for increased performance and safety. Keep your hydraulic unit operation at factory performance by using OEM M1 Hydraulic Fluid. Meyer M1 Hydraulic fluid is scientifically formulated to synchronize with internal components to withstand the extreme temperatures of the summer and winter. Meyer’s exclusive additives maximize performance and longevity of the complete operating system. M1 Hydraulic Fluid is guaranteed to perform at temperatures -40 degrees. It is recommended that you drain the M1 Hydraulic in the spring, fill and store the unit with Hydra-Flush over the summer & re-fill with new M1 Hydraulic fluid in the fall.
